New York Giants Injury Update: Justin Tuck Likely To Practice Wednesday

The New York Giants won’t release an official injury report in advance of Saturday’s game with the New York Jets. The early report from the Giants, though, indicated that defensive end Justin Tuck is expected to practice.

Tuck, the Giants defensive captain, has been dealing with a toe injury and a myriad of other ailments. He played Sunday against the Washington Redskins after practicing just one day last week.

The Giants released information Tuesday that the following players will be on their pre-practice injury report: center David Baas (neck); tight ends Jake Ballard (knee), Travis Beckum (chest) and Bear Pascoe (ribs); running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot); linebacker Mark Herzlich (ankle); wide receivers Mario Manningham (knee) and Devin Thomas (neck); safety Derrick Martin (back); and defensive end Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee).

Ballard, Beckum and Pascoe are the three tight ends on the Giants roster. Ballard is not expected to play, and Beckum did not play against the Redskins on Sunday. Pascoe’s status has yet to be determined.
