Ahmad Bradshaw Injury Update: Running Back 'Planning On Playing'

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who has missed the last four games with a cracked bone in his foot says he is “planning on playing” Sunday when the Giants face the 11-0 Green Bay Packers. He just is not planning on practicing this week.

“Practice? I don’t think I want to,” Bradshaw said. “I want to be as healthy as I can on Sunday."

Practice or no practice, the Giants could certainly use Bradshaw in the lineup Sunday against Green Bay. Despite missing those four games Bradshaw still leads the Giants in rushing with 440 yards in seven games.

The Giants are last in the league in yards rushing per game at 83.2, and in average yards per running play at 3.2.

Bradshaw originally suffered the injury in a game against the Miami Dolphins. He has had similar injuries in the past and has undergone surgery in an effort to alleviate the problem.
