Aaron Rodgers: No 'Recipe' for Beating The Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says there is no “recipe” to beat his team. And why shouldn’t he say that? The Packers are 11-0. They are the defending Super Bowl champions. They have not lost in nearly a year, since a Week 14 defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots last season.

“I don’t believe you can say there’s a recipe to beat us when we haven’t been beaten yet. I think there are ideas, maybe on how you can get after us,” Rodgers said.

The Packers are, of course, beginning to get questions about going undefeated. Rodgers knows the Giants will be desperate for a victory when the teams meet Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

“They’re 6-5, they’re a game back in the wildcard, and a game back in the division. They still play Dallas twice … I think you have to realize that the opponent you’re playing, and the desperation, and the understanding of how important this game is,” Rodgers said. "They [the Giants] understand the importance of this game, and getting back in the race in their division. It’s going to definitely be a tough game for us, especially playing on the road.”

Question is, coming off three straight losses can the Giants come up with a recipe to beat the Packers — and actually execute it? As Rodgers said, that won’t be easy.
