Michael Vick Injury Update: Report Says Vick Out Sunday Against Giants

Michael Vick will not play Sunday against the New York Giants, according to a report published by the Delaware News Journal. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback suffered two broken ribs last Sunday in the team’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

The News Journal reported that despite the team’s contention that Vick was still possible for Sunday’s game, that they have already ruled him out.

The 3-6 Eagles will turn to Vince Young at quarterback. The former starter for the Tennessee Titans, and the player who saddled the Eagles with the ‘Dream Team’ moniker when he signed as a free agent, will be making his first start for Philadelphia. He has thrown only one pass this season, which was intercepted.
