Michael Vick Injury Update: Eagles QB 'Unlikely' For Game With Giants

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick "still has the possibility of playing Sunday," according to Eagles coach Andy Reid, but his broken ribs apparently make it "unlikely" that he will face the New York Giants in prime time Sunday (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).

Here is how ESPN's Adam Schefter put the situation earlier today:

Vick suffered broken ribs early in Philadelphia's loss to Arizona last Sunday. Vick did not practice with the Eagles on Wednesday.

"We will prepare like he is going to play," Giants safety Kenny Phillips said earlier this week.

Vince Young will likely start for Philadelphia if Vick is unable to play.

For the Giants the only players who did not practice were linebacker Michael Boley (hamstring) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot). More on the status of those two players later today.
