The Wednesday Video: Fran Tarkenton, Creator Of The West Coast Offense?

The New York Giants just played the San Francisco 49ers, who were of course once coached by Bill Walsh, the innovator of the West Coast offense. But in the following video, Fran Tarkenton boldly states that in his first season in New York, in 1967, the Giants played the first form of a West Coast offense. And he claims that 7-7 season was the biggest accomplishment of his career, even though he went on to play in three Super Bowls with the Vikings.
