Oct 30, 2011 - Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants
The 4-2 New York Giants host the winless Miami Dolphins on Sunday as 10 point favorites. The last time the Giants were favored by double-digits at home was three weeks ago when the lowly Seattle Seahawks traveled to East Rutherford, stunned the Giants 36-25 and eliminated millions of fans from their Survivor contests.
The Giants will be need to avoid another home upset to remain in the driver's seat for the NFC East Title. Although they currently reside in first place their remaining schedule is brutally tough. After the Dolphins this week they play road games against the Patriots and 49ers, followed by games against the Eagles, Saints, Packers and Cowboys. Six games, four against first place teams, two against division rivals and four on the road. When you look at the big picture, this week's game against the Dolphins is a borderline must-win for the Giants.
The Dolphins are without their starting quarterback Chad Henne, their number one cornerback Vontae Davis and starting running back, rookie Daniel Thomas.
For the Giants, Justin Tuck is listed as questionable with a groin injury, but plans to play after missing the the Giants last three games.
