Giants Vs. Redskins: Giants' Friday Injury Report

The New York Giants appear unlikely to get any of their injured players back in time for Sunday’s critical NFC East game against the Washington Redskins.

From the Newark Star-Ledger:

T Shawn Andrews, CB/RS Will Blackmon, WR Hakeem Nicks and C Shaun O’Hara are out. T David Diehl and WR Steve Smith are doubtful after practicing on a limited basis. CB Brian Jackson, CB Aaron Ross and DE Osi Umenyiora are probable.

That means the Giants will again feature on offensive line with Rich Seubert moving from guard to center, Kevin Boothe playing left guard and Will Beatty playing left tackle.

Mario Manningham and Derek Hagan will start at receiver, with Michael Clayton and Devin Thomas, both acquired last week, in reserve. Either Danny Ware or Darius Reynaud will return kickoffs.

The Giants are hopeful that some of the injured players will begin returning to the lineup next week vs. Minnesota. Smith and Diehl have practiced in limited fashion this week.
