Giants At Packers: Fantasy Football Focus

Here is a quick look at which New York Giants and Green Bay Packers to start and which to sit on your fantasy football team this weekend.

Giants

Start: Quarterback Eli Manning is a solid play, as are wide receivers Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks. Tight end Kevin Boss is catching more passes in recent weeks. Running backs Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw are sharing the load, and both worth playing if you need an additional back. The Giants defense piles up sacks and turnovers, so they might be worth a play as well. Especially with the weather likely to be frigid.

Sit:
Kicker Lawrence Tynes. Frigid weather, tough kicking conditions.

Packers

Start:
No reason not to start Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers or his top receiver, Greg Jennings. The Packer defense might be worth a play, just because of the possibility of poor weather conditions.

Sit: Packer running back Brandon Jackson. Green Bay doesn’t run the ball all that well, and the Giants can be stingy against the run when they are playing well. Kicker Mason Crosby, for the same reason as Tynes — the weather.
