From the Giants PR Dept:
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants today placed linebacker Clint Sintim on injured reserve and re-signed defensive end Alex Hall.
Sintim, a second-year pro, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the Giants’ 21-3 victory over the Minnesota Vikings Monday night in Detroit. He had played in all 13 games this season, primarily on special teams, where he was third on the team with nine tackles (six solo). He also had one tackle and one quarterback hit on defense.
A second-round draft choice from Virginia in 2009, Sintim played in 11 games as a rookie. He had 11 tackles (eight solo), including a sack, and six special teams tackles.
This in Hall’s second stint with the Giants this season and third with the team overall.
On Nov. 1, he was awarded to the Giants off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals. He was inactive for three games before being waived on Nov. 27, when defensive back Michael Coe was added to the roster.
Hall played in 2008 and 2009 for the Cleveland Browns.
*The Giants also made a change on their practice squad, waiving defensive tackle Joe Joseph and signing linebacker Kenny Ingram, who was on their practice squad for the final month of the 2009 season.
Ingram was waived by the Giants on July 30 and played this season for the Hartford Colonials in the United Football League.
