Darius Reynaud Questionable For Giants With Hamstring Injury

A surprise showed up on the injury report for the New York Giants today as they prepared for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Return man Darius Reynaud is questionable after suffering a hamstring injury during Friday afternoon's practice.

Reynaud's job is being threatened by newly-acquired Will Blackmon, anyway. Blackmon is a defensive back and has been a quality punt and kickoff returner in the past. Reynaud has not been effective returning kicks for the Giants since he was acquired right before the season began in a trade that also brought backup quarterback Sage Rosenfels from Minnesota. Reynaud is averaging just 5.9 yards on punt returns and 18.4 yards on kickoff returns.

Here is the rest of the Giants' injury report:

C Shaun O’Hara (foot), FB Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) and T Will Beatty (foot) are out. RT Kareem McKenzie (illness), DE Dave Tollefson (illness), DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) and LB Gerris Wilkinson (knee) are all probable.
