Good morning, New York sports fans! Here is your first look at the local sports scene.

- It is a fairly cold morning in the Northeast, but fans of the New York Giants should have a warm feeling today after their team came from behind to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 24-20. At 7-4, the Giants are right in the middle of the NFC playoff race. ↵
- The New York Knicks had to work two overtimes to do it, but they defeated the Detroit Pistons Sunday, 125-116. ↵
- The New Jersey Nets got a much-needed victory over the Portland Trailblazers on Sunday. ↵
- Bowl projections have Syracuse heading to the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. ↵
- Not strictly New York-related, but kind of sad to watch Peyton Manning throw four picks Sunday night in a terrible loss to San Diego. The Colts have fallen apart around Manning, and it shows. Makes you appreciate the zero turnover game by Eli Manning Sunday with backup receivers and an inury-ravaged offensive line even more. ↵
