Giants 28, Lions 20: Bradshaw, Defense Lead New York

Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 133 yards and Brandon Jacobs scored two touchdowns as the New York Giants (4-2) held off the Detroit Lions (1-5), 28-20, Sunday at New Meadowlands Stadium.

Antrel Rolle sealed the victory with an interception of third-string quarterback Drew Stanton in the final minute. Stanton was playing because Shaun Hill, starting in place of Matthew Stafford, left the game with left arm injury.

The Giants were helped by 11 Detroit penalties, many at critical points in the game.
