NFL schedule 2012 Week 4: Giants-Eagles, Jets-49ers showdowns highlight action

A primetime meeting between NFC East foes, the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, highlights a Week 4 NFL schedule full of marquee meetings and intriguing matchups throughout the league.

With the Giants headed to Philadelphia for the Sunday-night meeting, the Eagles have emerged an early favorite but, with a few days of extra rest after a Thursday night victory over the Carolina Panthers, the Giants will be ready for the showdown.

The New York Jets, having just learned that they would lose cornerback Darrelle Revis for the entire season after he suffered a torn ACL, will welcome the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.
