The rivalry between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins added another thrilling chapter Monday night when Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III led his team to a comeback victory, 17-16, over the defending Super Bowl champions at FedEx Field.

The loss dropped the Giants' record to 7-5 overall and heated up the NFC East division title race with four games remaining.

Yet despite the playoff implications, more importantly, the game's final result may have heated up the rivalry between the two franchises.

According to ESPNNewYork.com's Ohm Youngmisuk, Redskins owner Dan Snyder celebrated the win by blatantly telling a team employee, "I hate those m-----f------".

Yougmisuk is also reporting the Redskins had quotes from Giants co-owner John Mara, who in the spring lobbied the NFL to strip Redskins of draft picks, hanging up as motivation.

The two teams will not meet anymore in the regular season, but could face off in the playoffs if things pan out. Look for this to be a storyline if that does occur.
