The New York Giants take on a Baltimore Ravens squad also jockeying for playoff position, while the New York Jets play out the string in a meaningless game against the San Diego Chargers.
The Giants need a win Sunday against a tough opponent, as they're currently tied atop the NFC East with the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys. Both of those teams have favorable matchups: Washington plays the lowly Philadelphia Eagles, who have lost nine of ten, and the Cowboys take on the New Orleans Saints, who are 6-8. The Ravens have lost three in a row, as they've struggled on offense, leading to the firing of offensive coordinator Cam Cameron. But they're still considered one of the AFC's best teams. The AFC North title is within their grasp, so Baltimore will be motivated.
Both the Jets and Chargers are out of playoff contention, but Jets fans will be intrigued to see how the team operates with Greg McElroy at the helm after the benching of Mark Sanchez.
