The New York Giants head south to take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in the Georgia Dome for a widely-anticipated matchup.
New York comes in with a slim one-game lead in the NFC East over the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, while Atlanta is trying to regroup after a surprising loss to the Carolina Panthers.
The Giants have been somewhat uneven lately. They won, 52-27, last week against the New Orleans Saints but lost three of their previous four.
Of course, this is a rematch of last year's NFC Wild Card game, which the Giants won handily, 24-2, at MetLife Stadium on the way to the Super Bowl title.
New York will have to contain the passing game in this tilt with the likes of Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez on the other side. The Giants' pass defense ranks 27th in the league, while Atlanta's aerial attack comes in at No. 4.
Conversely, New York may try to pound the ball on the ground with the Falcons' rush defense allowing 127 yards per game.
