Giants' injury update: Amukamara, Bradshaw, Phillips miss practice

Prince Amukamara played only seven games last season as a rookie after breaking his foot in training camp. This season he missed the first two games with a high ankle sprain.

Amukamara could be shelved again Sunday when the Giants face the 11-2 Atlanta Falcons. He missed his second straight practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury suffered late in Sunday's 52-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

"I was trying to stay on a streak and just finish this season out healthy, but this is just a little minor setback. I'm glad it's nothing worse," Amukamara said Thursday.

He said he is "hopeful" of being able to play Sunday. The Giants certainly could use him with the Falcons featuring a pair of oustanding wide receivers in Roddy white (77 catches) and Julio Jones (63).

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot) also did not practice and head coach Tom Coughlin is uncertain if the veteran running back -- who rarely practices, anyway -- will be able to play Sunday.

"He’s going to tell you that he can go, anytime. So, it’s between the medical people and Ahmad, in terms of how he feels. You have a little bit different aspect now. You have a knee and you have a foot as well," Coughlin said.

Here is the full injury report for Thursday:
