New York Giants rookie safety Will Hill returned to practice this week after serving a four-game suspension for testing positive for Adderall.
Hill spent his suspension at his home in Atlanta working out to stay in shape. Hill said, "I didn't lose a step. Just because I wasn't here, I was still working. I was always grinding." Hill said that teammates even told them that they were jealous of his fresh legs.
While away, he watched the Giants on television, which he said was hard because he wished he could have been out there helping the team. With safety Kenny Phillips out until Nov. 25, Hill should see some playing time on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hill went undrafted out of the University of Florida in 2011, but signed with the Giants in May of 2012 and made the team. He played in the Giants' first five games, recording 11 tackles and one pass deflection, before serving his suspension.
