The Giants will be without seven players on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those players include: linebacker Keith Rivers, linebacker Jacquian Williams, safety Kenny Phillips, linebacker Chase Blackburn, defensive end Adewale Ojomo, tight end Adrien Robinson and tight end Bear Pascoe.
Phillips has been expected to play, but his knee has not yet improved enough for the Giants to be confident he can go.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without a pair of running backs in Sunday's game.
Both Rashard Mendenhall and Jonathan Dwyer will be out against the Giants at kickoff at 4 p.m. ET. Mendenhall has been battling through an Achilles injury. He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but missed Friday's practice.
Dwyer, meanwhile, was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. Dwyer is coming off back-to-back 100-yard rushing games. He has 299 yards on the season.
Also inactive for the Steelers on Sunday: quarterback Charlie Batch, safety Troy Polamalu, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert and defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu.
The Giants (6-2) will try to win their fifth-straight game Sunday against Pittsburgh (4-3).
