The New York Giants remain in the top-10 in the majority of power ranking polls despite coming off a bye. Currently leading the lackluster NFC East with a 6-4 record, the Giants actually gained ground this week moving up one spot in each of the four polls featured in this post.

At SB Nation, curator Joel Thorman placed the Giants at No. 10 overall this week. Despite the boost, Thorman questions whether the team's strangle hold on first place might be slipping:

They've lost two straight, holding a one-game lead over the Cowboys in the NFC East, with a game coming up against the Packers. Are they about to lose their hold on first place?

NFL.com also ranked the Giants at No. 10 and expressed that the team needs to figure out how to improve their offensive attack. ESPN.com gave the team their highest ranking of the week placing them at No. 9 overall. The lowest ranking came from FoxSports.com who placed them at No. 13 overall.
