Pro Bowl balloting: Victor Cruz and Antonio Cromartie leading the vote

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie are the leading vote-getters at their positions in their conferences.

The New York Giants and New York Jets each have one player currently leading the Pro Bowl voting at their position in their conference.

Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz leads all NFC receivers with 257,016 votes. Through 10 games Cruz has 60 receptions for 743 yards and seven touchdowns. Cruz has never made the Pro Bowl, but was a second-team All-Pro selection last season after finishing the season with 82 receptions for 1,536 yards and nine touchdowns.

In the AFC, Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie leads all cornerbacks with 93,753 votes. Cromartie has 24 tackles, three interceptions and nine pass deflections on the season, with one interception returned for a touchdown. Cromartie was named to the Pro Bowl in 2007 during his second season in the league with the San Diego Chargers.

Voting on NFL.com closes on Dec. 17. The Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Honolulu, one week before Super Bowl XLVII.
