Giants vs. Cowboys score update: New York up 13-0 after 1st quarter

The New York Giants lead the Dallas Cowboys, 13-0, at the end of the first quarter of Sunday's game.

With the Giants up 6-0, New York running back Andre Brown rushed to the left for a 1-yard touchdown with 3:41 left in the first quarter. The score extended the Giants' lead to 13-0.

The Giants got on the board first thanks to back-to-back field goals by Lawrence Tynes. Tynes hit from 41 yards out with less than 12 minutes remaining, and then hit another from 37 yards out with 7:11 remaining.

The Giants picked off Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo twice in the first quarter. Corey Webster and Stevie Brown each had an interception to end the first two drives of the game for Dallas.

The Cowboys also fumbled a punt return toward the end of the first quarter. Dallas had three total turnovers in the first quarter.

Eli Manning is 5-for-7 for 79 yards after the first quarter. Romo is 4-for-9 for 37 yards and two interceptions.

Ahmad Bradshaw has rushed for 23 yards on six carries to lead the Giants' ground game.

Martellus Bennett has three catches for 17 yards for New York.
