Andrei Kirilenko spent the NBA-shortened season playing in his native Russia with CSKA Moscow, but the former Utah Jazz forward is showing some interest in returning to the NBA and possibly joining the Brooklyn Nets.
Kirilenko is currently preparing for the Olympics with Russia, and during a break a reporter asked about his playing future:
- One can not ask about your club career? When will you make a final decision?
- I do not know. Before me is a very serious dilemma. There are several scenarios.
- Is one of them - "Brooklyn Nets"?
- Maybe "Brooklyn Nets", and perhaps with CSKA Moscow ...
Kirilenko to the Nets makes a lot of sense since he could reconnect with Deron Williams as the two spent just over six seasons playing together with the Jazz. Plus, Kirilenko had interest in joining the Nets this past season before deciding to play in Russia.
