Reggie Evans Trade: Brooklyn Nets Announce Deal For Clippers' Forward

The Brooklyn Nets officially announced the details of their trade with the Los Angeles Clippers to acquire forward Reggie Evans on Wednesday. In exchange for Evans, the Clippers will have the right to switch second-round picks with the Nets in 2016. Early reports of the deal had the Nets giving up a second-round pick in 2017 or 2018.

Nets general manager Billy King had this comment about the acquisition of Evans:

"Reggie Evans is one of the most tenacious rebounders in the league," said King. "He is a proven NBA veteran and will be an important addition to our front court rotation."

Evans averaged 4.8 rebounds per game, playing an average of 13.8 minutes. In the playoffs this year, Evans averaged 18 minutes per game, 3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 11 games.
