The New Jersey Nets look for their fourth straight win on Tuesday night when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers. (Game Time: 10:30 p.m., TV Schedule: YES)
New Jersey is dealing with a rash of injuries by playing some of its best basketball this season, including a 111-99 domination of the Sacramento Kings on Saturday that gave New Jersey two straight wins to open a four-game Western Conference road trip. Deron Williams led the cause with 19 points and 15 assists, Anthony Morrow paced the scoring with 24 points off the bench, and Gerald Wallace (18 points), Kris Humphries (14 points, 12 rebounds) and Johan Petro (12 points, five rebounds, four assists) all reached double figures.
Los Angeles could be without Andrew Bynum Tuesday night. The center suffered a moderate sprained ankle on Sunday when Los Angeles earned its second straight win, a 120-112 affair against the Golden St. Warriors.
