The New Jersey Nets continue their west coast road trip this week with a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. The Nets enter the week on a three-game winning streak, taking out the Pacers, Warriors and Kings. A 33-20 Lakers squad trying to hold off the Clippers for the No. 3 seed in the West should present a much stiffer challenge, however.
The Nets finally go back home Friday, where they will face a Washington Wizards squad that has lost seven of their last eight games. Coming off a cross-country stint, New Jersey may need the reprieve.
