Nets Schedule 2012: Nets Travel To Philly Before Hosting The Celtics

At 21-38, the New Jersey Nets don't have much to play for in the final seven games of the 2011-12 NBA Regular Season. They were officially eliminated from the Playoffs a while ago, and because there are ping pong balls with Anthony Davis' name on it at stake, it's probably in the Nets' best interest to lose as many games as possible.

As it stands, the Nets have a 4.3 percent chance chance of winning the number one overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery. Losing out could potential increase those odds to 12 percent. Luckily, not much tanking should be required for the Nets this weekend, because they play two Playoff team in the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics.

The Nets are 1-1 against the Sixers this season, losing as recently as Tuesday night, and 0-2 versus the Celtics.
