Nets-Bobcats Final Score: New Jersey Defeats Charlotte, 83-74

The New Jersey Nets defeated the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night by a score of 83-74 on the road in Time Warner Cable Arena. The Nets have now won two games in a row and now have a 13-27 record, which puts them in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and in last place in the Atlantic Division. The Bobcats are much worse off, though. They have now lost seven of their last eight games and are in last place in the conference with a 5-33 record.

The Nets were led by a 20-point performance from Kris Humphries, while Anthony Morrow came off the bench to chip in 17 and fellow bench player Jordan Farmar added 11. The Bobcats were led by Corey Maggette, who scored 19 points against the Nets on Friday night. Bismack Biyombo added 11 and Eduardo Najera came off the bench to add nine points.

The Nets head back home on Saturday to face the Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. (ET) and the Bobcats go on the road to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder at 8 p.m. on the same day.
