Nets Vs. Celtics: New Jersey Blown Out By Boston Celtics, 107-94

Despite 28 points from Brook Lopez, the New Jersey Nets fell behind early and never came close in a 107-94 loss to the Boston Celtics Friday night at the TD Garden.

Boston took an 18-point lead in the half -- behind four starters scoring in double-figures -- and never looked back. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 27 points, while Rajon Rondo contributed 14 points, 13 assists and five steals.

The Nets' starting backcourt of Deron Williams and MarShon Brooks, meanwhile, turned the ball over nine times. Williams took just nine field goals, scoring 12 points. Gerald Green, however, made some noise off the bench with 11 points against his former team and two ferocious dunks.
