After missing out on Dwight Howard -- at least for now -- the New Jersey Nets have quickly moved onto surrounding Deron Williams with talent.
The Nets acquired Gerald Wallace prior to the NBA Trade Deadline on Thursday and have already reportedly established at least two targets for the 2012 NBA free agency period this summer.
Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix reported Thursday that the Nets will go after Kevin Garnett and Ryan Anderson this summer.
There's no surprise there on either name, since both could be among the most sought-after free agents. Garnett can still impact games on both ends of the court like very few others in the NBA, and Anderson has erupted this season, averaging an efficient 16.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Neither will come dirt cheap, but they almost certainly won't command maximum salaries either.
