A cloud of chaos surrounds the New York Knicks as they prepare to meet the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden. (7:30 p.m., MSG)
Six straight Knicks losses have given way to a growing "Fire Mike D'Antoni" movement, and the New York Post reports that Carmelo Anthony has joined the movement. A source with knowledge of Anthony's opinions told the Post's Marc Berman that Anthony would like a trade if D'Antoni is not canned soon.
The Knicks have lost all six of their games in March after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 29. During that time the team's defense has faltered severely and its effort has come into question.
Portland has been in a state of disarray itself, with players reportedly wishing for coach Nate McMillan to be fired after the team patched together numerous blowout losses in the past few weeks.
