Bucks 105, Nets 99: New Jersey Loses 2nd Straight Without Deron Williams

The New Jersey Nets lost their second straight game without Deron Williams, who sat out again with a strained calf. New Jersey fell 105-99 to the Milwaukee Bucks without their top playmaker, putting them another game back from a team they need to catch if they hope to make the playoffs this season.

The Bucks won their third straight game to maintain position with the New York Knicks for the final Eastern Conference slot in the NBA Playoffs. Brandon Jennings had 34 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two blocks to lead the way. Milwaukee trailed by as many as 11 points late in third quarter, but scored nine straight in a 1:39 span to take a 74-72 deficit heading into the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee took the lead on a Jennings 3-pointer with just under 11 minutes to play and never gave it back. Kris Humphries had a career-high 31 points and 18 rebounds, but couldn't alleviate a 4-for-17 team performance from beyond the 3-point arc. Jordan Farmar added 17 points and seven assists in the loss.

Final - 3.12.2012 1 2 3 4 Total
