Two more players will be wearing a New York Knicks jersey Sunday, as it's being reported that veteran point guard Baron Davis and newly acquired forward J.R. Smith will suit up for an inter-conference contest (1 p.m. ET on ESPN) against the NBA's defending champions, the Dallas Mavericks, at Madison Square Garden.
Though, both players will be in Knicks' uniforms it's not guaranteed that both players will step on the hardwood.
J.R. Smith and Baron Davis will dress today. Smith more likely to play. Melo is out.

Early Sunday morning, Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News was reporting that Davis, who missed New York's first 31 games because of a herniated disk in his back, was expecting to see playing time, however, Knicks' head coach Mike D'Antoni wasn't making any promises before the game
If it's a blowout one way or the other, Baron Davis could play today, D'Antoni said. "He's anxious to play." #Knicks
