The New Jersey Nets home struggles continue in the 2011-2012 season, as they dropped their 10th game in 13 tries in their final season at the Prudential Center before their move to the soon-to-be completed Barclay's center in Brooklyn, losing to the San Antonio Spurs 103-89 on Saturday night.
Deron Williams, who was recently named a reserve member of the Eastern Conference All Star team, led New Jersey with 27 points and eight assists, but struggled from the field in hitting just nine of his 23 shots. Kris Humphries added 15 points and led New Jersey with eight rebounds.
San Antonio benefited from the return of Manu Ginobili, who had been out with a broken hand, and put in eight points in 16 minutes off the bench. The Spurs also extended their season-best winning streak to seven games.
The Nets will return to action on Wednesday, when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
