Nets Vs. Thunder: Durant, Westbrook Visit Newark

Following their first two-day break of the season, the rested New Jersey Nets will welcome Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma Thunder to The Prudential Center on Saturday night for the beginning of their first dreaded three games in three days. The Thunder (12-3) own the best record in the Western Conference, though lost their last time out they fell to the lowly Washington Wizards, 105-102. New Jersey picked up their fourth win Wednesday night by taking out the Golden State Warriors.

Against the Warriors, Deron Williams led the Nets with nearly a triple-double of 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Rookie sensation MarShon Brooks was nearly as good, pouring in 22 pounds while pulling down eight rebounds and handing out six assists.

In giving the Wizards just their second win of the season, the Thunder turned the ball over 21 times and made just 4 of 19 from beyond the arc. Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 36 points while Durant added 33 of his own.

This is the only time the Nets will face the Thunder this season and dropped both matchups between the two teams last season, including a triple overtime thriller New Jersey lost by three.
