The New Jersey Nets lead the Phoenix Suns by a score of 54-51 at halftime in US Airways Center. The Nets are looking to win their third game of the season while the Suns are looking for win number five.
The Nets are being led by point guard Deron Williams, who scored 13 points through the first two quarters. Kris Humphries added 10 points, MarShon Brooks scored eight while Anthony Morrow and Mehmet Okur each added seven. Jordan Farmar came off the bench to add six points while Sheldon Williams added two and Shawne Williams scored one. The Suns were led by center Channing Frye, who scored 10 points. Shannon Brown added nine points, Marcin Gortat added eight, Ronnie Price scored four and Jared Dudley rounded out the starting lineup with three points. Sebastian Telfair came off the bench to add six points, Robin Lopez scored two, Markieff Morris scored three and both Michael Redd and Hakim Warrick both scored two.
If the Nets win, they'll snap a three-game losing streak while the Suns will lose their third in a row.
