The New Jersey Nets' schedule will be announced Tuesday night during a televised broadcast which will reveal the 2011-12 schedules for all 30 NBA teams.
The television special takes place at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV. Schedules are expected to be released at 7:15 p.m.
Due to the extended lockout, NBA teams will play a shortened 66-game schedule rather than the accustomed 82 games. Teams are expected to play a higher percentage of back-to-back games, and schedules will likely even feature back-to-back-to-backs.
Training camps are set to begin on Dec. 9, the same day when teams can officially sign free agents. Nets superstar Deron Williams will opt out of his contract following the 2011-12 season, but has stated his desire to re-sign with the team if general manager Billy King upgrades the roster so the team can become a championship contender.
