Nets Vs. Hawks: New Jersey Falls To Atlanta 105-98

After winning their season opener, the New Jersey Nets have dropped three in a row after losing to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 105-98 on Friday night in Philips Arena. The Nets are now 1-4 while the Hawks improve their record to 3-0.

The Nets were led by point guard Deron Williams, who scored 23 points, and guard Marshon Brooks, who came off the bench to score 21. Center Mehmet Okur added 15 and Sundiata Gaines and Kris Humphries both added 10. The Hawks were led by guards Jeff Teague, who scored 22 points, and Joe Johnson, who scored 21. Center Al Horford added 12 points and Marvin Williams added 11. Center Zaza Pachulia came off the bench to add 11 points as well.

The Nets will look to snap their three-game losing streak in Cleveland against the 1-2 Cavaliers on Sunday evening and the Hawks will attempt to stay unbeaten in Houston against the 1-1 Rockets on Saturday night.
