Good morning, New York sports fans! Let's start with this -- with everything going on around here can you believe we are only two games into the NFL season?

- The New York Jets have been ripped by a franchise icon after an awful first week, and then back on the mountaintop after beating the rival Patriots in the second week. We have the Ines Sainz mess, followed this week by the Braylon Edwards fiasco. And now we have Rex Ryan saying he is "tired of the embarrassment." Yikes. It truly has been a 'Hard Knocks' kind of start to the season for Gang Green. ↵
- Over in the other locker room at New Meadowlands Stadium the New York Giants are making plenty of the wrong kind of headlines, too. The Antrel Rolle outburst. Brandon Jacobs helmet toss. Getting pummeled by Indianapolis. Today, everything is quiet around the Giants. It won't stay that way, though, if they keep losing games and looking like a JV team while doing it. ↵
- The New York Yankees lost a rain-delayed game to Tampa Bay Wedneday night, 7-2. Good stuff at Yankee Stadium tonight when two of the best pitchers in the game, CC Sabathia of New York and David Price of Tampa Bay, square off. ↵
- The New York Mets lost to the Florida Marlins, 7-5. That's enough about that. ↵
