- The Giants did what they were supposed to do, and needed to do, Sunday. They manhandled the Washington Redskins, 31-7, to improve to 8-4 and stay right in the thick of a very competitive NFC playoff picture. The Giants can't afford any slip-ups the rest of the way. ↵
- The Jets meet the Patriots tonight in an eagerly anticipated matchup of 9-2 AFC East powerhouses. - The Baseball Winter Meetings begin today. Let's see what the New York Yankees and New York Mets come home with at the end of the week. ↵
- The New Jersey Nets showed Sunday that they are no match for the NBA's big boys, as they were crushed by the Boston Celtics, 100-75. ↵
