Troy Murphy Says 'I Feel Good Today,' But Nets Won't Commit To Playing Him

New Jersey Nets power forward Troy Murphy could debut for the team tonight against the Bobcats, reports Al Iannazzone, because he participated in the team's practice today and wants to play. However, Nets coach Avery Johnson refused to definitively name who would start for his team at power forward. It's between Murphy and Kris Humphries, though; Joe Smith, who has just two points in three games, has lost the starting job.

Murphy missed all of training camp and the preseason with a sore lower back.
