Free agent forward Zach Parise is expected to make a decision later on Tuesday, according to a report from Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Parise held a press conference on Monday, during which he announced that he will take more time before deciding where he will play next season. He has stated an interest in returning to the New Jersey Devils, with whom he has spent all seven seasons of his NHL career. But he is also considering a number of other teams, including the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild.
Parise, 27, scored 31 goals to go along with 38 assists for 69 points last season with the Devils. He added eight goals and seven assists during New Jersey's run to the Stanley Cup finals, where they ultimately fell to the Los Angeles Kings.
