ANIMATED: Devils Leave Ice Under A Hail Storm Of Rubber Rats

The New Jersey Devils couldn't replicate their Game 1 success Sunday night against the Florida Panthers, losing 4-2 to even the series at one game apiece as the action heads back to New Jersey for games 3 and 4. Florida fans responded to the win by showering the ice and the players with rubber rats, a tradition that dates back to the 1995-96 season when Scott Mellanby killed a rat in the team locker room before going on to score two goals in the season opener in what was eventually dubbed "the rat trick."
