Good morning, New York sports fans! It's a busy Friday, so let's get right to it.

  • It seems to be taking forever for the New York Yankees and Derek Jeter to come to terms. The Yankees, though, have reached a deal with their other free-agent icon, Mariano Rivera. Mo wanted two years and got it. As Rivera's career rolls on you keep waiting for him to fall, like all great closers before him eventually have. There has never been anyone, however, quite like Rivera.
