Keegan Bradley, from St. John's, ranks near the bottom of the leaderboard at the 2012 US Open. The former Red Storm made the cut at 6-over, but has struggled on the third day, to a tune of 5-over through 14 holes in Round 3 (11-over for the tournament). Only five remaining players currently have lower scores than Bradley.

The top 10 remains relatively unshaken, given most players have yet to tee off on Saturday. David Toms, Jim Furyk and Tiger Woods lead the way at 1-under – all three are set to tee off at approximately 6 p.m. Eastern.

Retief Goosen started the day tied for 29th, but is 1-under through seven holes and 4-over for the tournament, now finds himself only five strokes behind the lead.

New York Mets outfielder Jason Bay exited Friday's game against the Reds with a "possible concussion" – his second head injury in as many years. On Saturday, the Mets officially placed Bay on the seven-day disabled list, according to the team's official Twitter. Meanwhile, Justin Turner has been reinstated from the disabled list.

The 33-year-old Bay is having a horrendous year for the Mets, as he's batting just .187, with four home runs and six runs batted in. He's striking out at the highest rate of his career and walking less than he ever has.

The good news is, a turnaround may be in order when Bay returns from his concussion injury. The outfielder's BABIP is an unfortunately-low .204 on the year – 81 points below his career-average. He's also making contact at his career rate (74 percent) and swinging-and-missing below his career rate (9.1 percent). Advanced stats suggest he's been a bit unlucky, to this point in the season.

"The Cavs seemingly need everything except a starting point guard at this stage, and adding some size to the frontcourt wouldn't be a bad idea. Nicholson is big enough to operate alongside Tristan Thompson and a good enough shooter to play with Anderson Varejao."

Two familiar faces appear in this week's New York Mets Minor League Update.

Pitcher Of The Week: Zack Wheeler (7 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 4 BB, 7 Ks, 1 Win)

We could pretty much pencil in Zack Wheeler for 'Pitcher of the Week' every week. This marks the third time in the past four weeks that Wheeler has earned the honors.

Wheeler is far and away the Mets top prospect, and absolutely torching Double A in 2012. The only blemish on his resume is a modest walk problem. However; his strikeout numbers, average against and groundball tendency do a good job of masking his lone blemish.

Expect him in Triple A, and possibility the Major Leagues, by season's end.

Hitter Of The Week: Matt Den Dekker (.630, 4 Doubles, 4 RBIs, 1 BB, 6 Ks, 3 SBs)

Much like Wheeler, Den Dekker frequents as the Mets hitting prospect of the week. This is also his third 'Hitter of the Week' honors.

Here's what I had to say about Den Dekker on May 14:

Den Dekker is putting together a very solid season with the Birmingham Mets in Double A. His slash line on the season is .295/.361/.525 and his strikeout rate is down from last season. If he can continue this pace, he may be able to be a below average starting outfielder in the majors, but it's more likely he tops out as a reserve. At 24 he's not young for his level at all.

Since then Den Dekker has continued to rake, and his season average is up to .340 on the season. Over the last 10 games, he's batting .488 with an unsustainably high OPS of 1.219.

Den Dekker remains a fringe prospect. He's not as good as his season projects, but if continues to hit at anywhere near the rate he has in 2012, he could certainly assert himself as a regular in the Mets outfield in a year or two. He still strikes out too often.

Adam Warren pitched his second consecutive gem, earning himself Pitcher of the Week honors. Also, a familiar face, and, arguably the Yankees top hitting prospect, Mason Williams, hit well enough to out-duel Cito Culver for this week's Hitter of the Week spotlight.

Pitcher Of The Week: Adam Warren (7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BBs, 4 Ks, Win)

Adam Warren followed up his best start of the 2012 season, with his second best start of the season. Over the last two weeks he's pitched 14 innings, allowed eight hits, no runs and two walks. He's also struck out 10.

Although he's on a bit of a hot streak, I'll say the same thing I said last week, regarding Warren: he's a fifth starter, at best, and most likely a career long reliever/bullpen guy, at the major league level.

Hitter Of The Week: Mason Williams (.429 average, 4 Doubles, 1 HR, 2 RBIs, 2 BBs, 3 Ks, 2 SBs)

With Dellin Betances and Manny Banuelos struggling big time, Mason Williams – along with Charleston teammate, Gary Sanchez – is probably the Yankees top prospect mid-way through the 2012 season.

The 20-year-old is having a very solid season in Low A. He's batting .306, with an on-base percentage of .362, four home runs and 16 stolen bases. To go along with his impressive batting line, he's striking out at an extremely low rate. Not to mention his overall athleticism and defense.

His upside is a borderline an All-Star centerfielder.

The 2012 Belmont Stakes was dealt a huge blow when I'll Have Another was scratched the day before the race due to injury. The horse was the overwhelming favorite, and had the opportunity to become horse racing's first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed did so in 1978.
