Marquette vs. Syracuse: Game time, TV schedule for 2013 March Madness

Two Big East foes square off one final time for a chance to go to the Final Four.

USA TODAY Sports

The No. 3 seed Marquette Golden Eagles and No. 4 seed Syracuse Orange are all that remains in the East Region of the 2013 NCAA Tournament. On Saturday afternoon, one team will advance to the Final Four in Atlanta.

Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. CBS will televise the game. For those not able to be in front of a television, the NCAA is steaming all of the Big Dance online through their official site. The games are also available through an application on your mobile device, which can be found on iTunes and Google Play.

As for the game itself, expect athleticism to be on display throughout. Both teams are loaded with talent at the guard and forward positions, and they like to push the tempo in the open floor. Marquette won its only meeting of the regular season, picking up the 74-71 victory at home late in February.

Davante Gardner led the Golden Eagles with a game-high 26 points and eight rebounds in the contest. Slowing Gardner down will be essential if Syracuse hopes to pull yet another upset. On the other side, keeping point guard Michael Carter-Williams out of the lane will be key for MU.
