The Brooklyn Nets picked up an easy victory against the Sacramento Kings, coasting to a 113-93 win at the Barclays Center.
The win pushed Brooklyn to 17-15 on the season, allowing them to stay ahead of the Boston Celtics, who defeated the Atlanta Hawks 89-81 on Saturday.
The Nets offense generated an abundance of high percentage shots, as the team shot 53 percent from the floor compared to the Kings' 40 percent shooting. Brooklyn also had an impressive night at the free throw line, sinking 18 of their 21 free throws.
The Nets had balanced scoring on Saturday, with six players scoring in double-figures. Brook Lopez led the team in scoring with 18 points, while Andray Blatche, MarShon Brooks and Deron Williams each scored 15 points. Mirza Teletovic and Joe Johnson were the other Brooklyn players in double figures, with 14 points apiece.
DeMarcus Cousins had a dominating performance, scoring 28 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Jason Thompson had the second-most points for the Kings with 15.
