The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers are still at home as they continue to prepare for the Super Bowl, and if they are smart, they will get the majority of preparation done before leaving for New Orleans. The week before the game is slated to be filled with activity.

While the 49ers will head to New Orleans on Sunday, the Ravens will get in on Monday afternoon. Both teams won't have much much time to relax after arriving as they will go through the gauntlet that is media day on Tuesday. San Francisco will be the first team to take questions for the hundreds of gathered media members as the 49ers will hold the first media day session at 11 a.m. ET. The Ravens will follow with their own hour-long session at noon.
A number of events leading up to the game are football-related, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame luncheon, but not everything has to do with football. Friday's activities will include the 14th annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration as well as VH1's "Best Super Bowl Concert Ever."
There will also be performances on Sunday. Alicia Keys is set to perform the National Anthem while Beyonce and Destiny's Child will perform at halftime.
The complete list of Super Bowl events can be found on the official website of Super Bowl XLVII.
