BMW Championship 2012: Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods Shine

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods were paired together on the first day of the 2012 BMW Championship, and they put on a show. McIlroy shot an 8-under 64, while Woods went for a 7-under 65.

Woods is currently in fifth place after shooting nine birdies and two bogeys. McIlroy is in a four-way tie for first with Webb Simpson, Bo Van Pelt and Graham Delaet.

Phil Mickelson started the day well, with three birdies in the first nine holes. He couldn't move his score any lower on the back nine, as he shot three bogeys to go with three more birdies. Mickelson is five back of the leaders.

Native New Yorker John Huh finished at 2-under for the day after shooting a 70. Huh went bogey-free for the round and added birdies on holes six and 18.

Keegan Bradley, who went to school at St. John's, is 1-under on the day with one hole to play.
